  • 05:20 AM: Proceed directly to Angkor Wat for sunrise. Find a good spot by the reflecting ponds then picnic breakfast nearby ( recommended to bring take a way breakfast boxes from your hotel ) 

  • 07:00 AM: Explore Angkor Wat. Take your time to walk through the galleries, admire the bas-reliefs, and climb to the upper levels (if accessible and open).

  • 09:00AM: Head to Angkor Thom City.

    • South Gate: Stop for photos of the iconic causeway and the faces on the gate.

    • Bayon Temple: Marvel at the enigmatic smiling faces.

    • Baphuon Temple: Climb to the top for panoramic views (note: requires a good climb).

  • 03:30 PM: Continue to explore the 12 century temple of Banteay Samre the looks like the replica of Angkor Wat but unique and very serene. ​

  • 04:30 PM: Head to Pre Rup. This temple-mountain offers excellent panoramic views of the surrounding plains and experience the less-crowed sunset from the summit. Transfer to hotel by 6 pm.
